Procal Analytics have recently won a contract and supplied Advanced Continuous Emission Monitoring Analysers to a new plant in Nantong, Peoples Republic of China. The instruments are to monitor the emissions from a thermal oxidiser, currently under construction. The PULSI 200LR In-Situ Continuous Emission Monitoring Analysers incorporate Procal Analytics' In-Situ Sample Cell technology. The instruments require no sample handling system, thereby dramatically reducing the cost of ownership. The instruments are designed to have a better than 95% availability, and are capable of being automatically zero and calibrated, enabling the plant operator to demonstrate to the local Environmental Agency that the instruments are within calibration.

The Multi-Component Stack Mounted Analysers are connected to an industrial PC, which displays the pollutant gas concentrations, data logs, and retransmits to the plants DCS. The analyser systems simultaneously monitor the following gases; Range 1 0 - 1000ppm NO Range 2 0 - 500ppm SO2 Range 3 0 - 5000ppm CO Range 4 0 - 500ppm HCl Range 5 0 - 20% CO2 Back to 'News'
