Procal Analytics have recently supplied a further two instruments to a Power Plant in Poland. The repeat order was for two PULSI 200LR instruments monitoring; Range 1 0 - 200ppm CO Range 2 0 - 400ppm NO Range 3 0 - 1200ppm SO2 Range 4 0 - 6% H2O Range 5 0 - 12% CO2 The Thermal Power Plant is one of the biggest located on the Vistula River in the South Eastern area of Poland. The power plant has eight 225MW units, with a total power output of 1800MW, which represents 5.5% of the total power output of the National Electric Power System.

The PULSI 200LR Continuous Emission Monitoring Analysers are ideal instruments to monitor the emissions from power stations of all types. The instrument can simultaneously monitor up to six gases, and has a very low maintenance requirement. The instruments are also capable of automatic zero and calibration, demonstrating to the Environmental Agency that the instruments are in compliance. The instruments are mounted outdoors, and therefore have to be able to function within specification with ambient temperatures of -20°C to +35°C. This was achieved by fitting a Procal standard environmental cover to the standard PULSI 200LR analyser. Back to 'News'
