Procal Analytics supplied five CEM Systems to a Lime Kiln Corp, a very valued US customer. To date, the customer operates three Procal CEM systems on their Alabama plant. Recently, the company has purchased two further plants in Texas, for which they have ordered a further five PULSI 200LR CEM Analysers.

The instruments are designed to comply with US EPA 40 CFR Parts 60 & 75, which does not only require a daily zero and calibration, but also specifies that any adjustments must be logged and reported.

The instruments are calibrated to a range of 0 - 250ppm CO, 0 - 30ppm CO2 and 0 - 45% H2O.

The analysers will be commissioned and maintained by Procal's US distributor, Cosa Instruments, New Jersey.

The instruments are mounted on hot stacks outdoors, and must be capable of withstanding large temperature swings, often experienced locally. To accommodate these requirements, the units are fitted with additional Vortex cooled fibreglass enclosures.

Procal Analytics have exported well over 200 CEM Systems to the demanding North American Market. The installations cover many industries, such as Incineration, Petrochemical, Power, Cement, Lime, Paper & Pulp and Chemical.
