PROCAL ANALYTICS success in cement and lime kiln applications has been rewarded with several more orders for cement and processor applications. Among these is a repeat order from a large corporation in Alabama, USA. The instruments are used to monitor CO at a range of 0 – 500ppm. The customer has been very impressed, not only with the accuracy of the measurement, but also its reliability. The instrument achieves minimal down time, enabling the signal to be used for kiln burner control. The high reliability is a design feature of the PULSI 200, utilising an in-situ enveloped folding beam. This enables both zero and span checks to be carried out automatically. In addition, the sample temperature and pressure are continually monitored and displayed. The PULSI 200LR has been very successful in the US market where the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency are high. Emphasis is put on accuracy and reliability with daily zero and calibration tests.
